Knowing your measurements is the first step to finding clothes that fit beautifully. With your Perfect Fit Measurements card, shopping becomes effortless! Here’s a simple guide to measuring yourself at home:
Before you start..
A few quick tips to make sure your measurements are spot-on:
- Wear fitted clothing or just your undergarments.
- Don’t pull the tape too tight—it should rest comfortably on your body.
- Ask a friend for help if possible; measurements are easier (and more accurate) with two people.
- Write down your measurements as you go on your Perfect Fit Card- trust me, your memory isn’t always as good as you think!

1. Height
Stand straight with your back against a wall and your feet flat on the floor. Use a ruler or tape measure from the floor to the top of your head – I’m sure you already know this one since you’re part of the Short Girls Club… but just in case! lol

2. Shoulder Width
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other across your back. Keep the tape straight but relaxed.
3. Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust. Keep it snug but comfortable and parallel to the floor.
4. Under Bust
Measure directly under your bust around your ribcage.
5. Waist
Find the narrowest part of your torso (your natural waist) and measure around it.
6. Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, keeping the tape level.
7. Inside Leg / Inseam
Probably one of the most important measurements! Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to your ankle. If measuring yourself is tricky, grab a pair of your trousers and measure them instead.
8. Arm Length
With your elbow slightly bent, measure from the shoulder seam to your wrist.
