My Top 5 Extra Petite Friendly Brands

(I Bet You Don’t Know most of these!)

If you’re under 5ft, you’ll know just how tricky it can be to find clothes that actually fit properly. From trousers that pool around your ankles to sleeves that feel far too long, shopping as a extra petite woman often means compromising on fit.

While I’m not technically classified as extra petite, I’ve spent a lot of time discovering what does work for women under 5ft. So I’ve put together a roundup of my favourite extra-petite-friendly brands-from labels designed exclusively for extra petites to brands that don’t offer a dedicated petite range but do provide shorter lengths, cropped styles, and proportions that work beautifully on smaller frames.

These are the brands I consistently turn to when I’m advising my extra-petite ladies in The Short Girls Club.

Fable Petite is changing the game for extra petite women, with their collection being solely dedicated to women 4’8”–5’0”, offering timeless, high-quality pieces that fit perfectly-no need for alterations. I love that their mission is about more than just clothes; they want every petite and extra petite woman, of all sizes, to experience the joy of buying pieces that actually fit. Everything is made to an exceptionally high standard and made in the UK.

Halara is a contemporary lifestyle brand designed for movement, comfort, and everyday confidence. Known for blending performance-driven fabrics with modern, wearable style, Halara creates clothing that supports real life—from workouts and travel to workdays and weekends. While Halara does not offer a dedicated petite collection, the brand provides trousers, jeans, and leggings in a range of lengths, making it an ideal choice for petite and extra petties ladies.

DEWEY is revolutionising fashion for adults under 5ft, offering stylish, sustainable clothing that truly fits! Founded by Chamiah Dewey, the brand leads the way in short stature and adaptive fashion, empowering people to look and feel confident in every outfit. Highly recommended for jeans and loungewear.

M&S is a classic, trusted brand known for quality and timeless style. While they no longer offer a full petite range, M&S provides shorter and extra short lengths perfect for petites and extra petites. Their collection ensures comfort, quality and timeless design.

Lucy & Yak doesn’t offer a dedicated petite range, but they do offer lots of cropped and shorter-length styles, which are great for extra-petite frames. Known for their free-spirited, bold patterns and fun, unique designs, the brand blends comfort with eco-conscious values. Their playful, eye-catching pieces are ideal for petite women seeking standout styles that fit beautifully-without compromising on individuality or sustainability.

Hey I'm Danielle,
The founder of The Petite Lady

At 5ft2, I know firsthand the struggles of finding clothes that fit our frames just right. That’s why I started The Petite Lady — to help petite women like us find fashion that fits, flatters, and empowers.

Through my blog, I share my journey, tips, and curated finds, all with the goal of making fashion more accessible and enjoyable for petites.

When I’m not hunting down the best petite-friendly brands or sharing styling tips, you’ll find me out on a hike (I’ve trekked to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro!) or enjoying cheese and wine with friends.
