My Top 5 Petite Curve (UK 18+) Friendly Brands

(That’s right – no more choosing between curve or petite, you can have it all!)

One of the most common misconceptions about being petite is that petite means slim – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Petite simply means short. And yet, far too often, brands only offer petite collections in a very limited small-size range, as if shorter women don’t exist beyond a size 16 or 18.

What’s even more frustrating is that many brands proudly promote extended sizing in their main range – offering up to a size 24, 26 or beyond – but the moment you click on the petite filter, the options suddenly stop at a size 18. It sends an unspoken message that curve and petite can’t coexist, when in reality, they absolutely do.

If you’re petite and curvy, you’ll know just how tricky it can be to find clothes that actually fit properly. Being forced to choose between the petite range or the curve range often means compromising on fit, proportion, or style. Go for curve, and the sleeves, waist placement, and hems are too long. Choose petite, and the size range simply doesn’t work for your body.

While I wouldn’t be classified as petite plus myself, I’ve spent years working closely with petite women across a wide range of sizes. Through styling sessions, fittings, and real-life feedback, I’ve learned exactly what does – and doesn’t – work when it comes to shorter proportions and curvier bodies. The difference isn’t just about sizing up or down; it’s about adjusting scale, waist placement, sleeve length, rise, and overall balance.

That’s why I’ve put together a roundup of my favourite petite plus–friendly brands – so you no longer have to choose between clothes that fit your height or your curves. From labels designed specifically for petite plus sizes (18+), to brands without a dedicated petite range that still offer genuinely inclusive sizing and proportions that work, this edit is all about helping you feel comfortable, confident, and stylish – with no alterations needed.

These are the brands I consistently turn to when advising my Petite Plus ladies in The Short Girls Club.

Live Unlimited Petite is a brilliant option for women looking for petite plus clothing that’s designed with both shorter proportions and curves in mind. Created specifically for women 5’3” and under and available in sizes 12–28, the collection recognises that petite doesn’t mean slim and that curvier petite bodies deserve the same considered fit.

The range focuses on stylish, contemporary pieces that are easy to wear and genuinely designed for shorter, curvier frames – from well-cut dresses and tops to trousers that don’t require alterations. With an emphasis on quality fabrics, comfortable fits, and modern silhouettes, Live Unlimited Petite is ideal for everyday wear and work, offering polished, effortless style without compromising on comfort or proportion.

FatFace offer a dedicated petite range, as well as shorter lengths in many of their jeans and trousers. Impressively, they also stock a strong selection of petite tops — something many brands still fail to cater for.

According to their website, every piece in their petite collection is proportioned specifically for shorter frames, with reduced sleeve lengths, higher waist placements, and shorter hems across the range. Rather than simply shortening the length, they adjust the overall proportions to ensure a more balanced and flattering fit.

They also offer sizing up to a UK 20 in their petite range, making them a great option for petite and curvy women.

Halara is a contemporary lifestyle brand designed for movement, comfort, and everyday confidence. Known for blending performance-driven fabrics with modern, wearable style, Halara creates clothing that supports real life — from workouts and travel to workdays and weekends.

While Halara does not offer a dedicated petite collection, the brand provides trousers, jeans, and leggings in a range of lengths, making it an ideal choice for petite customers. Depending on the style, pieces are available in cropped, extra petite, or petite lengths, allowing for a more tailored fit without compromising on style or comfort.

With a focus on innovation, inclusive design, and versatile silhouettes, Halara empowers individuals to feel confident, comfortable, and supported in everything they do — offering wardrobe essentials designed for modern living.

They also offer sizing up to a UK 20, making them a great option for petite and curvy women.

M&S is a classic, trusted brand known for quality and timeless style. While they no longer offer a full petite range, M&S provides shorter and extra-short lengths designed to better fit petite women. Their pieces combine enduring designs with thoughtful tailoring, ensuring comfort and a flattering fit on smaller frames.

Available in sizes 6–24, M&S is perfect for petite women who love classic, polished fashion with a petite-friendly touch — a reliable choice for everyday wear or work staples.

Lucy & Yak doesn’t have a dedicated petite range, but many of their cropped and shorter-length styles work beautifully for extra-petite frames. Known for their free-spirited, bold patterns and playful designs, the brand combines comfort with eco-conscious values, making it a standout choice for those who care about sustainability.

Available in sizes 4–32, Lucy & Yak is perfect for petite plus women seeking fun, eye-catching pieces that fit well without compromising on individuality, style, or ethics.

And if you’re looking for more, I’d also recommend looking at Next, Hobbs, Lovall and Sea Salt.
