And yet, far too often, brands only offer petite collections in a very limited small-size range, as if shorter women don’t exist beyond a size 16 or 18.
What’s even more frustrating is that many brands proudly promote extended sizing in their main range – offering up to a size 24, 26 or beyond – but the moment you click on the petite filter, the options suddenly stop at a size 18. It sends an unspoken message that curve and petite can’t coexist, when in reality, they absolutely do.

Rather than simply shortening the length, they adjust the overall proportions to ensure a more balanced and flattering fit.

Available in sizes 4–32, Lucy & Yak is perfect for petite plus women seeking fun, eye-catching pieces that fit well without compromising on individuality, style, or ethics.
