My Overall Rating
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Would Highly Recommend
“Phase Eight offers a beautiful selection of classic occasionwear, and I recently tried three dresses and two jumpsuits from their petite range. According to their website, they describe the collection as “expertly tailored,” taking full proportions into account rather than simply shortening lengths — so they definitely set high expectations. Thankfully, they really delivered. The fit was excellent overall, and you could tell the proportions had been properly considered. I tried a size 10, which did come up slightly generous, so I’d recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes.
They also have an impressive selection, with over 350 pieces available in the petite range, and inclusive sizing from 6 through to 20. It’s great to see that level of choice for petites, especially in occasionwear.
Going in, I wasn’t sure the pieces would be my style and worried they might feel a little frumpy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The designs looked amazing on and, more importantly, made me feel great because they fit my figure so well.
Phase Eight does sit at a higher price point, but the quality definitely reflects that. The fabrics and tailoring feel premium, and these are investment pieces that won’t go out of fashion.”

Phase Eight Julissa Jumpsuit Teal

Size tested: 10 petite
Fit: Comes Up Big
Inside Leg: 27″
£139

“This jumpsuit is understated, polished, and very versatile. The proportions through the waist and leg worked perfectly, and the length was great with heels.
The stitched wrap V-neck stays in place – no gaping or shifting — making it secure and comfortable. I noticed a tiny pull at the crotch (likely due to my high rise), but otherwise it’s a great piece with excellent quality and fit, feeling refined without being over the top.”
Petite Jumpsuit Wide Leg Lace Light Blue

Size tested: 10 petite

“The fit was really good, though it pulled slightly at the crotch due to my high rise as a petite. Otherwise, the proportions through the waist, leg, shoulders, and sleeves were perfect. The wide leg feels elegant rather than overwhelming, and the length works beautifully with heels — it could also fit extra petites well.
The matching lace jacket is stunning, with cut-out lace details giving a polished, premium feel. Together, it’s a gorgeous Mother of the Bride option, but the pieces can also be worn separately, making it a smart, versatile wardrobe addition“

“I honestly expected it might feel frumpy, but it looked lovely. The cut and midi length are beautifully done and fitted me perfectly.
The cotton fabric is comfortable and easy to wear, yet still polished. It’s versatile – dress it up for a wedding with heels and a structured bag, or wear casually on holiday with sandals and a crossbody bag.
At £129, it’s reasonably priced for a high-quality occasion piece, offering accessible luxury without compromising on fit or style.”
Phase Eight Anabella Shirt Dress Pink

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Highly Recommend
Size tested: 12 Petite
Fit: Comes Up Big

“I accidentally got this in a size 12, so it as a bit big on the shoulders, but the tie belt pulled in the waist and it still looked gorgeous. It’s perfect for hourglass shapes or those with a larger bust, giving a beautifully defined silhouette.
The print placement feels expensive, and the lining and cut are beautifully done – I honestly felt wonderful wearing it. The midi length works really well and gives room to also fit extra petites.
It’s classic enough to wear again and again, perfect for weddings, races, or formal daytime events, and even a Mother of the Bride option. I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved it.”

“I absolutely loved it this dress. The pleated fabric gives it an elevated, special feel, and the print and V-neck are really well proportioned. I also loved the sleeves for extra coverage.
The maxi length worked well for me, though it might be a little long for someone shorter. It’s comfortable and stylish, making it perfect for long events like weddings – definitely exceeded my expectations, even though it’s not usually my style.”
